YakoPlan

Keep planning offline with YakoPlan

A train journey or a lost Wi-Fi connection should not have to stop a weekly review. YakoPlan can keep local plans and previously saved account work available offline. Prepare the browser while connected, then understand which data is saved on this device before relying on it away from the network.

Open YakoPlan

Prepare before you disconnect

An offline planner still needs a first online visit. The browser must finish downloading the app before it can open it again without a connection.

  1. Open YakoPlan online in the browser you intend to use, and allow the planner to finish loading.
  2. Create your local plan, or sign in and open the account dates you will need. Dates that have not been saved on this device are unavailable offline.
  3. Check that your changes have saved. Try opening your plan without a connection before depending on it during travel.

Know where your plan is stored

A local plan saves directly in this browser on this device. You can work without an account, and signing in does not automatically upload that local plan. Another browser or device does not automatically have the same local data. Clearing browser storage can remove it, so keep exports of plans you want to retain.

Account planning keeps a separate copy of previously opened dates on the device, not a complete offline copy of everything in the account. If those account dates are missing, YakoPlan shows that they are unavailable. It does not substitute your local plan for the missing account data.

Edit offline and review after reconnecting

For example, review tomorrow's saved tasks on the train, complete a finished item and add context to a day note. Supported account changes stay on the device ready to send after reconnecting. Features that need a connection remain unavailable while offline; an offline edit is not proof that another person has received it.

After reconnecting, check the saved and synchronization status. If you started the planner offline, first let changes save locally, then reload while online to verify your account session and resume synchronization. When a version conflict occurs, YakoPlan shows it instead of silently overwriting newer work.

Frequently asked questions

Can I open YakoPlan offline on a new browser?

Not before an online visit has finished preparing the app. Offline access depends on the app files and the relevant local or account data already being available on that device.

Is a data export a complete backup?

No. You can export a chosen date range as iCalendar, CSV or JSON. In Settings, choose Data & account when signed in, or Plans on this device for local planning. Attachments and a complete account archive are not included.
